how do i take a video on my computer?

Downloading CamStudio

1. Go to http://camstudio.org/
2. Click the green “Download” button
   
   
   
3. Click “Skip” on the first popup
   
   
   
4. Click “Skip” on the second popup
   
   
   
5. Save the installation file in a location you can remember (the default should be your Downloads folder)
   
   
   
   
6. Open the installation file you have just downloaded
   
   
7. Click “Start” to install CamStudio
   
   
   
8. Click “Next” in the Setup Wizard
   
   
   
9. Click “Accept” in the License Agreement
   
   
   
10. Click “Decline” in the extra installation offer
    
    
    
11. Click “Finish” when the installation is complete
    
    
    
12. Check “Launch the application on exit” and click “Close”
    
    
    

Using CamStudio

1. Open CamStudio Recorder (Default location is Program Files > CamStudio)
2. Click the red circle to start recording
   
   
   
3. Match the black outline that appears to the part of the screen you want to record and left click
   
   
   
   
4. Click the blue square when you are done recording
   
   
   
   
5. Name the video you have just recorded and save it in a location you can remember
   
   
   
   
6. Close the Video Player that automatically pops up
   
7. Your video will be saved in the location you assigned (or the Default location is My Documents > My CamStudio Videos)
